I believe God can have an active role forming each person's character and personal walk with Him. He will not force Himself on anyone, but simply holds out His hand and asks if we want to walk with Him. This book is my journey of finding freedom in God's love. As a Christian, I have lived ashamed of my imperfection for years. I am writing this book as an encouragement to anyone who wants to be set free from the condemnation of sin and the pride of righteousness. My journey was a long process of humility through which God opened my understanding. Although the outcome was beautiful, I have been through some heart-wrenching trials. I had no idea what was happening in my heart, but as I became weak I discovered that God was trying to show me His grace and love for me.
